Agent Mandate: who authorised the system, and within what limits
KYA is an attestation technology. Its Agent Mandate credential links the actions of an autonomous system to the principal who authorised it, defines the scope of the mandate and keeps a verifiable chain of delegation.
KYA is in development. Trustvestor issues it as an Electronic Attestation of Attributes (EAA) under eIDAS 2.0.
What the Agent Mandate records
Principal
The natural or legal person responsible for the system.
Scope
What the system is authorised to do, and within what limits.
Chain of delegation
A verifiable record of who delegated authority to whom.
One core, different legal regimes
The core is the same. Applications are chosen according to the market and the legal regime: civil (finance, logistics, business-to-business trade), law enforcement and defence.
What KYA does not do
KYA attests who authorised the system and within what limits. It takes no part in target selection or mission execution.

We are looking for pilot partners among ministries of defence, defence companies and allied organisations. The KYA Agent Mandate attestation shows who authorised an autonomous system, within what limits and through which chain of delegation.
